Day 13 & 14 - Many thanks to Louis Phaethon Beach Hotel
Yesterday it was a really busy day. The hotel is fully booked, so many guests needed to be served. One of the staff members in the pool bar learnt me how to make cocktails so more people could get their drinks at the same time. Furthermore, I helped Theo with supplying cups and glasses to the bar.
In my free time I enjoyed the sun shine and joined some activitied. I really had an holiday feeling.
In the evening, I worked in the restaurant and helped Georgina with organising cutlery and showed people a table. Georgina is a very nice woman who is always nice to me and helps me with everything. When I was having dinner, suddenly firework was fired off next to the waterslides. This was for a couple that married at Phaethon. It was absolutely surprising and beautiful.
Today I only worked from 9 AM to 1 PM. After that I played beach volleyball and started packing my bags. Later this afternoon I thanked Mr. Paraskeva for this opportunity he has given me and I thanked Mr. Thanasis for his supervision.
Tomorrow I will fly around 1 PM back to Brussels. I really had a great time at Louis Phaethon Beach. I wish I could stay longer. The staff were all so nice to me, they learnt me many new thinks, I met a lot of nice people, food was delicious and I improved my English. Overall, it was a successful internship!
