Day 6 & 7 - 29/30 April

Yesterday I did the same things as a day before, so I helped with breakfast, had some time for myself and after that I helped in the restaurant during dinner time. After my evening shift I went to the theatre and watched a dance show performed by the animation team. The animation team consist of only professional dancers. Therefore, the shows are just brilliant!! A few days ago, I met a mom with two children from my age. They were really nice to me and I watched yesterday’s show with them. Unfortunately, they are leaving today. But I will keep in touch with them for sure. Something really special happened yesterday; a man proposed to his wife. That was so lovely!

This morning I helped with breakfast and after that I helped Cav (one of the animators) in the kids club. There was one Dutch girl aged 4 and she did not understand what the animators were telling her because the animation team is English. So, I was her personal translator this morning. First of all, we made some drawings and later we walked around the swimming pool area. We visited the slides (which opened today for the first time this season) and after that we did a quiz. Later this morning, I helped in the pizza bar.

In the afternoon I was off. I joined some activities. I won today’s darts competition, so tonight I will get a certificate. Every night around 9.30 PM there is a diploma ceremony for all activity winners that day. Tonight I joined the bingo with some people I met here. Unfortunately, I did not win the jackpot. Today’s show was like Xfactor. Guests could sign in to perform a song for the judges. Some guest were actually really good and some were not.

Tomorrow, I will have a day off because here in Cyprus they celebrate Easter on the 1st of May.
